• The aging Opera News site had not seen a significant update since the early 2000s. It had an cluttered design that was not conducive to a friendly user experience.
• Digital Editor Adam Wasserman contract the British group Substakt to rebuild the site on a current platform.
• The editors of Opera News and I participated in Substrakt's discovery exercises to determine best UX direction.
• I channeled branding from the print product to Substrakt, including typography, color palette, rules and graphic devices.
